Who we are
The Light Travel Agent app ("the app") is provided by Light Travel Agent, a visa consultancy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (Bete Sayda Building, 4th floor, office 407, 6 Kilo). The app is available on Google Play and at lighttravelagent.com/app.
What the app collects
The app does not collect, store or send your personal data to our servers. It has no user accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools.
- Booking and enquiry forms. When you fill in a booking or enquiry form, the app only prepares a message on your phone. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it yourself through WhatsApp, Telegram, phone or email. Those messages are then handled by that service under its own privacy policy, and by our office to answer you.
- Settings saved on your device. The app saves things like your language choice and checklist progress in your phone's local storage so they are kept next time. This stays on your device and you can clear it at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it.
- No camera, location, contacts or microphone access. The app does not ask for these permissions.
Information you send us
If you contact us (for example by WhatsApp, Telegram, phone or email) and share your name, phone number, travel plans or documents, we use this only to give you our visa consultation services. We do not sell or rent your information. We keep it only as long as needed for your case or as required by law, and you can ask us to delete it.
Third-party services
- Links to WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, YouTube and Google Maps open those services, which have their own privacy policies.
- The app loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your device's IP address as part of a normal web request.
- On Android, the app opens our website through Google Chrome (a Trusted Web Activity), so Chrome's own privacy policy also applies.
Children
The app is meant for adults planning travel. Children's visa matters are handled through a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the app.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
