Canada visitor visas, study permits and work permits are applied for online with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Most applicants have no interview: the officer decides from your documents, so a complete and honest application matters most.
How it works from Ethiopia
- Choose the right visa or permit and check the requirements on canada.ca.
- Create an IRCC account and fill in the online forms.
- Upload your documents – passport, purpose of travel, proof of funds, ties to Ethiopia and, for study, your letter of acceptance.
- Pay the government fees online and submit.
- When IRCC asks, give your fingerprints and photo (biometrics) at the Canada Visa Application Centre in Addis Ababa (run by VFS Global).
- Wait for the decision. If approved, you submit your passport so the visa can be placed in it.
How we help
- An honest check of your eligibility and chances before you pay any government fees.
- The full IRCC online application and a complete document checklist.
- A review of bank statements, employment letters and invitation letters before you submit.
- Help after a refusal: we read the reasons and prepare a stronger new application.
